This page is being structured to match the descriptions of the funds and collections of the Permanent Collection of the Historical Archives to international level standards, enabling the integration of our collection to the ICA-AtoM, a free program of archival description developed by the International Council on Archives (ICA its acronym in English) for access to libraries on the internet.
With him, the Historical Archives fulfills one of its most important missions: to facilitate access to documentary collections in their care, adequately described and organized in accordance with international standards (ISAD (G), ISAAR and ISDF and streamline the access to information with content and quality.
The Centre for Logic, Epistemology and History of Science - Unicamp created a Library and Documentation Archive for History of the Historical Archives Ciência.Seção, in 1988.
The mission of the Historical Archives is to contribute to the preservation of national scientific memory and encourage multidisciplinary research.
The collection consists of institutional archives (custody), including the Logic Centre itself, Epistemology and History of Science, and personal archives of scientists and philosophers.
